Baan Panburi provides an excellent range of up-market budget accommodation on the island.
Situated on the north east corner of Koh Phangan, this secluded resort has over 300 meters of beachfront expanding over half the bay at Thong Nai Pan Noi; white sand, crystal clear waters and lots of coconut trees.
Natural beauty and cleanliness have been blended with simple huts to create an idyllic paradise for young and seasoned travellers alike.
Thong Nai Pan Noi is a beautiful long white sandy beach and the bay is deep which means that it is excellent for swimming all year around.
There is little to see in the way of marine life, but there are some decent waves for body surfing.
Thong Nai Pan Noi is very popular with its bohemian vibe and small village with some cool bars and restaurants.
The resort has a wide-range of island style huts to suit most needs and budgets.
There are a total of 63 huts and bures.
Bures is the word for island cottage made of local wooden materials.
Here it is made of bamboo panel walls, palm leave roof with wooden floor, rustic and picturesque in appearance.
The Bures also come with hot water.
Island hut is a slightly smaller and less detail version, both are cleanly kept and have excellent view.
The island huts do not have hot water.
Ceiling fan is provided as well as mosquito net to cover the bed at night.
A very rustic and wonderful experience to spend time here and guaranteed one would not want to leave when the time comes.
